Eligibility:
JAAGO invites prospective interns regardless of their country of citizenship, ethnicity, family background etc. To be eligible for an internship, an individual has be of at least 15 years of age and have completed at least one year of high school education.
The Internship
Internships at JAAGO are non-paid; interns will have to bear the cost of conveyance. Food allowance will be provided for full-time interns.
The internship will span over a period of twelve weeks and interns are required to work an average of eight hours a day. Interns may have to work during the government holidays during special circumstances, but they will be consulted beforehand.
The Benefits
Interns will learn to work in a close-knit team and the organizational skills needed to turn in work in the required timelines. Interns wishing to work in a specified field will not only get the opportunity to polish their skills and strengths, but also gain an insight as to how to increase their potential to make a positive difference.
All interns will receive a personal letter of recommendation. The letter will give a thorough observation of their work; highlight their skills and their influence on the JAAGO Team.
The internship will be a bonus for individuals wanting to join JAAGO as team members.

A letter of recommendation from a relevant peer, former employer, teacher or professor is an added advantage. Successful applicants will be invited for an interview at our Rayer Bazaar head office after the application is processed. Interns may but are not required to specify their desired field of work during the time of application.
The interview is a chance for the interns to get to know us, as well as a chance for us to get to know them. Interns will be designated to a department based on their choice as well as the JAAGO Team’s preference.
