British Women’s Association (BWA) sponsored school-uniforms

On 9th March 2010, British Wome's Association (BWA) sponsored school-uniforms for all the current students of JAAGO Foundation.

It has been a long time for JAAGO's students to attend classes with school-uniforms. JAAGO observed the dire need of these students to have new sets of uniforms. JAAGO believes that school-uniforms, though not a crucial portion of schooling, works as a motivation for the students to attend school daily. Students feel themselves to be representatives of a school when they proudly portray their school's uniforms. In addition to be a Motivation, the new school-uniforms also help students to remain clean and hygienic. These poverty-stricken students really cannot afford detergents and washing-powder, and hence, having a new set of uniform can solve their basic problem of remaining clean.

On receiving the new set of school-uniforms, the students of JAAGO found no boundary of their happiness and cheered up with sheer joy. It is as if they discovered a new reason to attend school for.

JAAGO Foundation would like to convey its endless gratitude to British Women's Association for giving the kids a new reason and a new motivation to study more and attend school even more frequently.
