Standard Chartered Bank visited JAAGO Foundation. A total of 14 employees from SCB, including the HR Director Mr. Sandeep Mookharjee, Head of Corporate Associates Mr. Bitopi Daash, and Head of Transformation Project, Comsumer Risk Ms. Faria Afzal, came to spend some of their valuable times with JAAGO. They reached JAAGO sharp at 12 noon and spent the entire day with the underprivileged students of this school.

At 12 noon, the 14 Representatives of SCB reached JAAGO and started interacting with the kids. They visited every class-room and spent some quality time with them. The kids recited rhymes for them and one of the three Chief Guests sang melodious songs for the kids. This was followed by a visit to the field where the kids were served sumptuous foods. During the lunch, the kids suddenly left their places and started feeding Miss Faria.

Later at 3:00PM, a Painting Event was held during which the kids drew some lovely art-works for the SCB Visitors. This was followed by a Drama Event. The entire Drama was written, directed, and staged by the underprivileged kids of JAAGO. The theme of the Drama was “Struggles of a Woman”. After this touching and heart-rending drama was a Dance Competition.

This line-up of the events was followed by welcoming the SCB Chief Guests to take the floor. The Honorable Chief Guests shared their moments of joy with JAAGO and their own experiences of childhood. They conveyed their utter grief and repent for the JAAGO Kids, but also expressed their pleasure and gratitude towards JAAGO for its incomparable contribution towards shaping the lives of some of the misfortunate children of this depressing society.

The entire hectic but enjoyable day finally ended at 5:30PM with a Gift Distribution Ceremony. The SCB Guests were left all-touched and the children of JAAGO were overwhelmed by the unexpected visit. We, JAAGO FOUNDATION, convey our endless gratitude to Standard Chartered Bank for their support and love for the kids.
