Award Categories
The Youth of the Nation awards will include a number of categories, where nominees will compete to prove excellence and innovation. They will be judged and evaluated fairly. There will also be one “Youth of the Nation”, every year. This single-most prestigious award will go to the person or group which has been judged to have gone far beyond the normal call of duty or conscious and above any actions of their peers to make a remarkable change in the community or nation for the better.
A total of 9 awards will be given in 9 different categories. The award categories are as follows:
- 1. Best Group in Wonderland 2010
This award will be given to the team who has shown outstanding performance and incomparable dedication to the children taken to Wonderland in the Universal Children’s Day Campaign. - 2. Best Captain in UCD 2010
This award will be given to the Signal Point Captain who has shown outstanding leadership, dedication and determination in the Universal Children’s Day Campaign. - 3. Highest Fundraising Point 2010
This award will be given to the team who collected the highest amount of donation during the Universal Children’s Day Campaign 2010. - 4. Best Partner School 2010
This award is given to the school that showed the greatest support, participation and loyalty in 2010. - 5. Best Partner University 2010
This award is given to the university that showed the greatest support, participation and loyalty in 2010. - 6. Best Partner Organization 2010
This award is given to the organization that showed the greatest support, participation and loyalty in 2010. - 7. Best Corporate Partner 2010
This award is given to the corporate that showed the greatest support, participation and loyalty in 2010. - 8. Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is given to honor an individual who has made significant fundamental contributions to social development in Bangladesh, either through a single establishment or multiple works of development. These contributions, whether they have been in research, leadership, education, rehabilitation, or mentorship, must have had a lasting impact in the society and must have demonstrated a lifetime commitment to social development. - 9. Youth of the Nation 2010
This award is given to honor an individual who has made significant fundamental contributions to social development in Bangladesh, through a single establishment or work of development. This contribution, whether they have been in research, leadership, education, rehabilitation, or mentorship, must have had a lasting impact in the society.
