From Climate Resilience to Practicing Science and Innovation: JAAGO Students Do It All

From Climate Resilience to Practicing Science and Innovation

Co-curricular activities help in the holistic development of students and assist in developing critical skills and abilities among our students. Participating in science fair projects also helps create a feeling of confidence and competence among students and fosters a spirit of scientific inquiry. We believe the benefits of participating in after-school activities range from enhanced communication to new friendships to leadership training to greater personal or social awareness in our school.

From Climate Resilience to Practicing Science and Innovation

Recently, in our JAAGO Banani Branch, we have arranged a science fair for the senior students. Eighty students presented 16 projects on the school premises. This science fair encouraged the students to explore the wonders of science.

Along with that, to build resilience in education to the impact of climate change, a tree plantation activity in collaboration with Annisul Huq Foundation and Green Savers, as a part of the Ännis Shabuj Shaptaho program, was arranged in our school. The students become happy to plant the saplings and water the plants. This fun-filled activity of tree plantation is conducted to educate the children of the school to stay connected to their roots and know their responsibility towards protecting nature. The students are aware that the need for tree plantations has become even more significant these days because of the growing pollution in the environment.
