Welcome

The GenU Bangladesh imaGen Ventures Youth Challenge 2023 aims to harness the ideas and creativity of young people, to solve some of the biggest challenges that their generation is facing. This year the overall themes are Climate Change and Gender.

The Bootcamp is taking place in 8 divisions of Bangladesh with the participation young people (aged 15 – 24) from 8 divisions. During the boot camp, the teams will partake in immersive learning, ideation, prototype design and co-creation sessions to further understand the root causes of their key concerns and innovate on solutions to address their identified problems. (A list of the themes the teams will be working on is attached below)

Incubation

The 3 selected teams from each division will be awarded seed funds equivalent to US$1000 and dedicated mentorship support to help further test, ideate and improve their solutions over a period of 2- 3 months.

In May 2024, a National Pitching Event will be organised for all 24 teams in incubation, based on 3 teams per division in Bangladesh.

Your remarkable ideas and solutions have not only impressed our esteemed panel of judges but have also showcased your potential to drive positive change in our world. We believe that your success is just the beginning of a bright future filled with even more positive changes in the community and remarkable accomplishments.

On behalf of your team you are requested to submit your Community Action Project (CAP) proposal ( more detailed version of what you finally presented in the bootcamp )and Budget (as detailed as possible) with the guidance of your respective mentor.
